Our plot covers over 1½ acres on the South side of a gently sloping hill. Around us are fields and woodland.
Aside from the main two-storey house there is a long one-storey barn, a two storey barn and a further one storey
building which used to be a dancehall. Additionally there's a garage, a pigsty and a bread oven and store. All of the buildings are structuraly sound
but need plenty of work to turn them into comfortable accommodation.
The major tasks which we have to undertake are the installation of sewage pipes and tanks (no mains sewage here), electrical installation, creation
of partition walls, installation of doors and windows, fitting kitchens and bathrooms, tiling and general decoration. Should be a piece of cake then and only six or seven apartments to do. Oh, and at some point, we intend to install a pool!!!
